Problem with 64bit XceedZip
We have just upgraded a 32-bit MS Access application that was using the 32-bit XceedZip control to un-compress files from 32bit MS Access to 64-bit MS Access and have changed over to now using the 64bit XceedZipX64 control within the updated app. The latest version of the dll is installed.
The zipx archives from which the files are being extracted have all been created with either a 32-bit or 64-bit version of XceedZip. Each compressed and encrypted zipx archive file contains three plain text data files. Encryption is AES-256 bit with a 128 character unique password for each file. With certain zip archives the application is now unable to extract some or all of the files. Reports various errors, in the worst case indicating that a specific file within the zipx archive was probably corrupted (error 122) and could not be uncompressed. However, all the files can be extracted without difficulty and without any evidence of corruption using the old 32-bit version of the application, and also can be extracted using either WinZip or 7Zip. The problem is not occurring on all zipx files as some can have their contents extracted without error. The problem is not erratic, that is, it is always the same file or files within the same zip archives that can't be extracted.
Any advice as to what might be cure this problem would be most welcome.
